I've been thinking of some new project ideas and hopefully will get a chance to get some designs down on canvas over the "Holiday break".
Here's one I just did today that I'm going to title "BUNNY TRAIL". I was striving for a cold, gray winter atmosphere. I think this pretty much nailed that feel.

Art has made a big change in my life, too, Roberta. I'm very glad that I can be instrumental in sharing that with you.
And by the way, I have "Bunny Trail" scheduled for February 21st at the Remington Museum in Ogdensburg.
Your new studio is beautiful! And I love the new picture!! Is that something you'll do closer than Ogdensburg? I definitly want to do that one!
I really love taking your classes! I always walk away with new techniques that I have never tried. Plus they are a lot of fun. I have always had a passion for art, but have just never made time for it, until now.

I'm sure the "Bunny Trail" painting will be making the rounds and we'll be doing it in Watertown at some point.
Yes, I'm looking forward to using the new studio space, both for classes and an ocassional "Open House".
You'd be surprised how many times I've heard your same remark about "never making time for myself" ( to paint or play tennis, go camping, whatever ) It's the single most frequent comment I hear. I feel that a person has to find an interest in their life, whatever that interest is, and pursue it. If you don't have something that fulfills you, that you enjoy and that you look forward to, life can be pretty boring. I am lucky in that I have both music and art to rely on, and I truly don't know which one I love more. They seem to go hand in hand with me.
It's been great having you in class and I'm glad you enjoy it.
I've always said that the best part of what I do is getting to meet sooo many nice people along the way.
Wow, I love this too. It reminds me of when I lived up north as a kid. Taking walks and exploring the "bushes" what we called the woods...lol, behind our house. We would always see bunny tracks...but no bunnies! :)
