Fresh Off The Easel

Here are the two new works I had mentioned in my last post. I photographed them this morning, so I could get them on here. Still snowing like crazy today, so I had to snap them on the porch, but the lighting through the large windows was adequate and yielded a good result.

If this weather keeps up, we'll have enough snow again for some "shoeing". We had literally lost all of our snow since my last snowshoe trek. It's coming back with a vengeance now.

Happy New Year Buddy!
Your new paintings are great...I really like the one of the snow forest on the Gallery Wrap canvas.
Hope you and Glenda are well! ~Nic

Howdy,
How's everything in Tennessee? We got a lot of snow yesterday and today, so I've been out with the snowblower for the past hour, or so. That just cuts into my "paintin' time"! lol
I'll bet you're gearing up for Silver Falls again. It'll be here before you know it. I've been checking every now and then, just to see the game plan, but they don't have anything posted yet.
Give Norma a big hug for me. And tell Buck to "quit showin' off". lol
( he makes it all look too easy )
The new grandchild is due in about a month, so I'm sure we'll be staying busy enough.
Take 'er easy,
Willie

Hey Wilson!

Great new works! I especially love the chickadee (sp?) painting. They are one of my favorite types of bird. PS...I sold "Blue Light" today :)

Hey, congrats on another sale!! Over the years, I've sold many, many paintings, but even now it's still a little bit of a thrill every time another sells. I think it just confirms and validates the fact that someone enjoys and appreciates your work. Positive comments are always nice, but if someone actually purchases it, that's something different. That means they liked it enough to have to OWN it!
I can't blame them for wanting your "BLUE LIGHT painting,....it's beautiful.
Yes, those are chickadees and they're my favorite birds, too. They are frequent visitors to my feeders.

Thanks! It truly does make a difference when someone actually purchases a piece. Makes me want to paint more often! I had two other people that were in line if the original buyer pulled out...so I guess I better do a series of Blue Light lmao!
